A Cheap Web Design Service

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

In the cut and thrust, ever competitive market that is web design, there is always a good deal to be had. This is especially the case in the current financial climate as the recession has meant that many people are “tightening their belts” so to speak. The web design service industry has felt the full force of the credit crunch in the same way that many other business sectors have. As a consumer you can turn this to your own advantage by ensuring that as well as having a website designed and built that you also have six months of web promotion thrown in for free.

Now I am not a web designer; I actually run stuttering cure speech courses here in the UK and I also help people who have a low self-esteem to be able to increase self-confidence.

Some of the readers of this article may feel that it is some what cheeky to request this free web promotion service however my attitude is quite simple “If you do not ask you do not get”.

The example of buying a car is some what similar; my dad went through this experience only a few weeks ago. He had read about how badly the car dealers are doing and decided to bag himself a bargain. He knew the car he wanted and stated that he was only willing to pay a certain price, a price which was well below the car dealer’s asking price. He went around a number of car garages and put in his offer, eight of the dealerships turned down his offer but the ninth accepted it.

What I am saying is that when you make these requests a lot of web designers will turn you down but there will be at least one that will accept. It is important to ensure however that the person who accepts to build you a website and is happy to throw in some web promotion for free is capable of producing the goods and isn’t just some fly by night novice.

Web Promotion Techniques That Work For Free

Monday, October 12th, 2009

So you have paid a lot of money for the web design and now have a professional looking website. It has been “live” on the internet for at least a month but you are not receiving any visitors to the site. So what can one do? It is now the time to start promoting the website. Oh no, you may be thinking. “I do not really have the cash for web promotion after paying for the web hosting, the domain and the web designer to build the site. There is not a lot of money left over in the budget for web promotion as well”.

I here this on a regular basis. I offer an affordable web promotion service in the UK and I have a lot of enquiries from people who had just presumed that their site would be able to achieve high rankings within Google purely by the skill and knowledge of the web designer. This unfortunately is rarely the case unless, of course they have paid for such a service.

So for those of you who are seeking a higher search engine ranking position here are four website promotion techniques. They have worked for many websites including a friends DVD authoring website.

1. Start by deciding which phrases or keywords that you are hoping to achieve a high ranking for and ensure that they appear on the homepage.

2. Try to obtain one-way backward links via a link building campaign.

3. Use article marketing as it is a well known free form of web promotion that works. This is of benefit for a number of reasons; it helps to spread the message of the service/products that you provide; it enhances your reputation within the market plave and it also enables you to gain backward links

4. Add unique content to your website on a regular basis.

As well as being a web promotion specialist I am offer online guitar lessons for beginners.

I am confident that they will also be of great benefit to the readers of this article.
